Escape from 100 Feet of Rope

The magician sits in a chair and is tied in place by volunteers using 100 feet of rope. A curtain is then raised in front of the magician, and moments later the magician emerges, free from the ropes.

Behind the seated magician, hidden from the audience by the magician's body, is a trained goat. After the magician is tied and hidden from the audience, the magician rubs a bit of Essence of Tin Can (available from any magic supply shop and hidden beneath one fingernail) on the rope. The goat, attracted by the smell, eats the rope as it has been trained to do, freeing the magician.End of story

The information on this site is intended for use only by those with a sincere desire to learn nothing about magic and is for entertainment purposes only (in other words, don't try this stuff, particularly the dangerous parts). The Magicians Assistance Collective (MAC) frowns upon the use of magic in the formation of religions or to attract a cult following.

Magic is not real. Reality is not magic.
